WHAT YOU WILL DO?
As a Fund Accounting Manager (FAM), you will be part of our Fund Services’ accounting team in Trustmoore’s Singapore office. You will join a boutique fund administration and corporate services firm where everyone rolls up their sleeves and every member directly contributes to the success of the business. You will independently manage a portfolio of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds and Real Estate fund and SPV structures, working with fund managers, investors, banks, and internal stakeholders.
The FAM is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of your portfolio’s financial, operational and client service outcomes. You will promote Trustmoore’s client centric operating model, delivering added value to our Fund Services discipline and contributing to the further growth of the Singapore office.
Main responsibilities are:
Independently manage a portfolio of fund and SPV clients across Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Hedge Fund structures, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, their accountants, legal advisors and other external stakeholders;
Prepare and review fund and SPV financial accounts, including NAV calculations, capital accounts, management and performance fee calculations, investor allocations, cash reconciliations and expense accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables;
Prepare and review statutory annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS and SFRS), coordinating with external auditors and resolving audit queries to ensure timely completion;
Manage and oversee bank accounts and the execution of client payments, ensuring proper authorisation and accurate record-keeping;
Prepare and review GST and tax compliance filings in collaboration with external tax advisors, and support any GST remission scheme applications applicable to the Fund’s portfolio;
Provide oversight and guidance on transfer agency activities, including investor onboarding and KYC/AML reviews, subscription and redemption processing, investor register maintenance, and FATCA and CRS reporting, ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements;
Review investor communications including capital call notices, distribution notices and investor statements in accordance with fund documentation and regulatory requirements;
Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted counterpart for fund managers, investors, banks, auditors and legal advisors; support and lead client meetings with accurate data and proactive follow-ups;
Hold client fund or SPV directorship mandates where required and proactively participate in board meetings, including the presentation and clarification of financial accounts and fund reports;
Maintain an organised and disciplined approach to work planning, ensuring accurate and timely filing of administrative records and adherence to internal procedures, deadlines and service level agreements;
Identify and implement process, workflow and system improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability and control across the Fund Services team;
Actively share financial and accounting knowledge with colleagues across Trustmoore’s global offices;
Perform any other finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements as directed by the Managing Director.
HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?
As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will independently manage a portfolio of fund clients and structures, delivering seamless, white-glove fund administration services. You are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgment and taking ownership of your portfolio’s financial, operational and client service outcomes. You are a motivated self-starter with strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and client relationships concurrently. You demonstrate leadership within the team, set high professional standards and proactively contribute to the growth and development of the Fund Services business.
Qualifications for this profile:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or an equivalent field;
At least 7 years of relevant fund accounting experience within a fund administration house or equivalent, with demonstrated ability to independently manage a portfolio of fund clients;
Solid understanding of fund accounting for Private Capital and Hedge Fund structures, including NAV computation, capital account maintenance and financial statement preparation under US GAAP, IFRS and SFRS; experience with fund accounting systems such as Paxus or FIS Private Capital Suite is an advantage;
Working knowledge of AML, investor due diligence concepts, FATCA and CRS reporting, with the ability to provide oversight and guidance to junior team members on transfer agency and compliance matters; familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements and local compliance frameworks applicable to fund structures;
Fluency in English (oral and written); strong interpersonal, communication and client relationship management skills; self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
