As a Senior Fund Accountant (32 to 40 hours per week) at AssetCare, you support investment funds and institutional investors, enabling them to focus fully on their investment activities. You are responsible for the accurate processing of transactions, the calculation of official fund valuations (Net Asset Value – NAV), and the preparation of reports for investors and supervisory authorities.
Fund information is automatically received through the AssetCare Datacenter and processed by the team within our fund administration systems. Looking ahead, we continue to develop an increasingly efficient fundtech platform. As a result, your role will gradually shift from primarily execution-focused activities toward analysis, control, and optimization.
Main responsibilities are:
Maintaining and processing administrations for pension funds and investment funds across all asset classes;
Calculating the official fund value (Net Asset Value – NAV) and processing investor subscriptions and redemptions;
Preparing fund reports and mandatory regulatory reports for supervisory authorities such as the AFM and DNB;
Preparing and/or reviewing annual financial statements;
Maintaining reporting frameworks such as Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ISAE 3402 documentation;
Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, accountants, and auditors.
HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you need to manage ad-hoc activities next to your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. A helicopter view is required, you are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess good communication skills and not afraid of asking questions.
