WHAT YOU WILL DO?

As a Fund Accountant (FA), you will be part of our Fund Services’ accounting team in Trustmoore’s Center of Excellence. In this position, you will work closely with your local team members and legal and accounting colleagues from Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Singapore. The team supports our global fund accounting operations on a portfolio of predominantly hedge funds and private equity fund structures. You will assist the team with a wide range of administrative, financial and reporting responsibilities for our growing portfolio of fund clients.

The FA is expected to continuously develop personally and professionally, promote our client centric operating model deliver added value to our fund solutions and contribute to the further growth hereof.

Other responsibilities are:

• Set up and maintenance of financial administrations, including but not limited to preparation and review of monthly and quarterly NAV reports, including analysis of variances;
• Preparation and review of statutory annual financial statements (GAAP/ IFRS);
• Cash management, including management of bank accounts and payment instructions;
• Onboarding of new clients, mainly private equity and private debt fund structures;
• Monitor transactions of the client and wihtin the structures;
• Resolve and assist with audit queries directly with auditors to ensure that audits are completed on time;
• Liaise directly on client deliverables with colleagues from Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Singapore;
• Maintain an organized planning of work to ensure timely and accurate completion of agreed deliverables;
• Other miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks appropriate for the role and business requirements.

HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?

As a FA, you work closely with team members of various levels and are capable of managing ad hoc activities, intensive client contacts and your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. Having a helicopter view is essential since you are responsible for financial processes and reporting deadlines for a portfolio of clients and structures. You are proactive, know what you are capable of and possess good communication and organizational skills.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, Accounting or an equivalent;
• Min 2 years relevant work experience in (fund) accounting within the fund/ corporate services industry
• Interest in fund structures;
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP/ IFRS);
• Outstanding organizational, analytical and leadership skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; stronge sense of responsibility;
• Self-motivated and aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving;
• Fluent in English (both orally and in writing);
• Able to work independently and as a part of a team;
