WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Tax Compliance Officer you work closely with the Legal Account Managers and The Financial Account Managers to assist them on all tax affaires of our fast-growing portfolio of clients and inhouse entities. The Tax Compliance Officer is expected to develop both personally as well as professionally and contribute to the further growth of our office.

Main responsibilities are:

• Serve as the central point of contact, collaborating closely with tax advisors and internal colleagues to deliver high-quality work within set deadlines.
• Ensure that all entities meet all their tax compliance requirements, such as timely filing of tax returns, payment of taxes and objecting to tax assessment notices.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure that internal systems and processes are updated accordingly.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental tax concepts and proactively expand tax knowledge by staying informed about current tax developments.

As an Tax Compliance Officer you need to manage ad-hoc activities next to your regular tasks. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important and have a hands-on, flexible and service minded work mentality. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess excellent communication skills, and not afraid of asking questions when you don’t know.

Other qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Fluent in English (both orally and in writing).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the fiduciary/corporate/tax service.
• Flexible attitude and stress tolerance.
• Fluent in English (both orally and in writing).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Takes ownership.
• Is quality focused, business – minded with the ability to deliver excellent service to our clients.
