WHAT YOU WILL DO?
As a Junior Accountant you will be part of our Capital Market Services’ accounting team in Trustmoore’s Sofia office. You will work closely with your (internationally based) colleagues of the Accounting & Finance team to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. In this position, you are supporting the management of financial activities concerning a client portfolio. You will be assitsting with a wide range of administrative and financial tasks, such as periodic reporting, processing of investment transactions and bookkeeping of client portfolios.
Main responsibilities are:
Manage own portfolio in respect of planning, meeting deadlines and quality of work.
Handle and manage all obligations and due dates of transactions
Support with data reconciliation, journal entries and preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual figures.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and annual reports as well as other SPV related financial reports.
Support the audit process.
Filing regulatory statistical reports to central banks.
Ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
Identify issues or unexpected vents arising during work and resolve them.
Participating in projects for new systems implementation and reporting optimization.
Working closely with stakeholders, clients and other Trustmoore offices.
HOW DO YOU FIT INTO THE TEAM?
As a Junior Accountant, you work closely with team members of various levels and are capable of managing ad-hoc activities, intensive client contacts and your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. Having a helicopter view is essential, since you are responsible for financial processes and reporting deadlines for a portfolio of clients. You are proactive, know what you are capable of and possess good communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications for this profile:
Bachelor degree in business administration, Accounting or an equivalent;
Minimum 1- 2 years of relevant work experience ;
Fluent in English (both orally and in writing);
Able to work within an international, multicultural environment;
Interest in the international financial/capital markets and financial instruments;
Good knowledge with MS Excel.
Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
