Human Resources Manager

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
For our rapidly expanding office in Amsterdam, we are looking for an Human Resources (HR) Manager. The HR Manager collaborates with the local management team to create and execute Trustmoore’s P&C strategy for the Amsterdam office with over 90 colleagues. In this role you are expected to continuously develop personally and professionally and contribute to our People & Culture team.
Main responsibilities are:
- Being the first point of contact for all local HR related questions and matters;
- Being visible on location for all employees and local management to provide support to local management and employees by giving advice and guidance on the full range of HR activities;
- Carrying out HR administrative processes, including recruitment and selection, interviews, terminations/exit interviews, absence management, performance management, pay-roll, pension and other insurances administrations;
- Drafting and executing employment contracts, addenda and other relevant documentation;
- Updating and maintaining local HR policies and employee guidelines in line with Dutch law;
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements;
- Acting as an employer brand ambassador for the Trustmoore Group.
HOW DO YOU FIT INTO THE TEAM?
As HR Manager, you manage ad hoc activities next to your regular tasks. In this position, you must prioritize what is important and have a hands-on, flexible, accurate and service minded work mentality. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess excellent communication skills in Dutch and English and are not afraid of asking questions.
Other qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in HR management or other similar HR position;
- Availibility 32 hours per week and comfortable with working on location;
- A BSc/ BA/ Master in Human Resources, Business Administrative or relevant field;
- Knowledge of HR functions;
- Familiar with HR(IS) systems and recruitment tools;
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch Labor law and UWV procedures;
- Fluent in Dutch & English (both orally and in writing);
- Thorough understanding of the company’s business;
- Excellent social and communication skills and an affinity for interacting with people professionally and engagingly;
- Problem solving and decision making aptitude;
- Strong ethics and reliability;
- Self motivated, hands-on and able to work independently and as a part of an international team.
