WHAT YOU WILL DO?

As a Senior Financial Account Manager (SFAM) you will work closely together with legal and accounting colleagues to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities of our growing client portfolio. Further, you will be the point of contact for your clients for all administrative and financial tasks assigned to Trustmoore, such as bookkeeping, periodic reports and preparing statutory financial reports.

• Managing a client portfolio and be the first point of contact towards clients, client’s accountants and (tax) advisers regarding all financial and tax responsibilities;
• Set-up and maintain financial administrations, including but not limited to preparation and review of monthly and quarterly reports, including analysis on variances, cash flows and working capital reports;
• Preparation of statutory annual financial statements (Dutch GAAP/ IFRS);
• Managing local audit process and resolving audit queries to ensure that audits are completed on time and within budget;
• Preparation of VAT and CIT fillings in collaboration with external advisers;
• Cash management including management of bank accounts and payment instructions;
• Monitor transactions of our client and their structures;
• Client Relationship Management by maintaining relationships with client’s senior  staff and participating in and support preparation of client meetings;
• Maintain an organized planning of work to ensure timely and accurate completion of agreed deliverables; 
• Maintain close contact with auditors, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, banks, custodians, brokers and other external parties;
• Mentor, train and motivate junior and medior financial account managers and act as sounding board;
• Perform miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.

HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?

As a SFAM, you work closely with team members of various levels and are capable of managing ad-hoc activities, intensive client contacts and your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. Having a helicopter view is essential, since you are responsible for financial processes and reporting deadlines for a portfolio of clients and structures. You are proactive, know what you are capable of and possess good communication and organisational skills.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

• Bachelor / Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent;
• Residing in the Netherlands;
• Min 6 years’ experience in accounting within the financial or corporate services industry;
• Knowledge of accounting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS);
• Knowledge of tax and compliance aspects is highly desirable;
• Quality focused business-minded with the ability to deliver excellent service to our clients;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written);
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a part of a team; and
• Strong sense of responsibility.
