Junior Financial Account Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO?
The Junior Financial Account Manager (JFAM) works closely with the finance and legal teams to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. The JFAM is being coached by the Senior Financial Account Manager and is responsible for managing the financial and tax related activities of a diverse client portfolio of client entities. The JFAM also oversees various administrative, financial, and tax-related activities and is expected to continuously develop personally and professionally, deliver added value to the financial discipline within our organization and contribute to the further growth of our office.
Main responsibilities:
- Having frequent client communication and promptly handling various requests.
- Providing client bookkeeping and accounting services to an allocated client portfolio.
- Set up and maintain bank account authorization policies and user accounts.
- Entering payment orders into various online banking systems.
- Preparing and filing VAT and profit tax returns.
- Assisting with the preparation of portfolio performance overviews.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial reports.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, notaries, and other external parties to obtain the required information for reporting purposes.
- Other miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.

As a JFAM, you will manage ad-hoc activities next to your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess good communication skills, and are not afraid to ask questions.
Other relevant qualifications for this profile:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
- 1-3 years of work experience in fiduciary or corporate services.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
- Personal credibility, integrity, and high moral standards.
- Self motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Have a problem solving and flexible attitude and be result oriented, responsible, meticulous, and detail oriented.
