WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Junior Compliance Monitoring Analyst, you will be part of the compliance team in Sofia. The team ensures that Trustmoore and its clients comply with all applicable laws, regulations, supervisory requirements, and internal policies and procedures. Your primary focus will be monitoring all potential and existing client relations and transactions for certain financial crime risks and suspicious activity. You will work closely with your global colleagues and be part of our global Risk and Compliance community, maintaining our high international standards of business integrity.

Main responsibilities:

• Utilizing multiple systems to perform ad-hoc and ongoing background checks and integrity screening against financial crime risks, PEPs, Sanctions, and international trade restrictions;
• Conducting in-depth investigations of suspicious activity and alerts;
• Performing testing and spot checks on outsourced financial crime controls;
• Monitoring the efficiency of the systems and the established processes;
• Reporting findings and financial crime trends to the global compliance team and local and global management;
• Record keeping.

In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress.  You are proactive, know what you are capable of, possess good communication skills, and are not afraid to ask questions.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

• Master/bachelor’s in law, education started – position is suitable for students who have successfully completed their 1^st year of studies;
• Excellent command of English – written and spoken;
• Basic understanding of AML/CT rules and regulations and risk management;
• Legal background is considered as an advantage;
• Good decision-making, analytical and logical skills.
