WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Work Student Compliance, you are part of the Curaçao Compliance Team and our Global Risk and Compliance community. The Work Student Compliance supports the Compliance Team to ensure that the organization and its clients comply with all applicable laws and regulations, supervisory requirements, and internal policies and procedures. The Work Student Compliance is expected to continuously develop personally and professionally and add value to the Compliance Team.

Main responsibilities are:

• Supporting the implementation and standardization of (new) related policies, procedures, and programs for the appropriate business lines.
• Supporting specific Global Compliance projects related to Data Privacy, PEPs, FATCA/CRS, SCIRA or related to new/updated laws and regulations.
• Supporting the design and roll-out of internal compliance training and preparation of training materials.
• Supporting the Compliance Team with (ad hoc) requests.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and flexible team player who is eager to learn and, simultaneously, quality focused to support the Compliance Department efficiently.

Other qualifications:

• A student in the end phase of their law studies (3^rd Bachelor year or Master student).
• Affinity with integrity, culture and governance requirements.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (both orally and in writing).
• Self-motivated and able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Willingness to develop your professional skills in an international environment.
