WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Financial Account Manager- Fund Services (FAM) you will work closely together with legal and accounting colleagues and fund specialists to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations. In this position, you will work in a team with a portfolio of predominantly Private Capital fund structures and will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities of our growing portfolio of SPV’s. Further, you will be the point of contact for your clients for all administrative and financial tasks assigned to Trustmoore, such as bookkeeping, periodic reportings, preparing statutory financial reports, and promote Trustmoore’s client centric operating model.

• Managing a client portfolio and be the first point of contact towards clients, client’s accountants and (tax) advisers regarding all financial and tax responsibilities;
• Set-up and maintain financial administrations, including but not limited to preparation and review of monthly and quarterly reports, including analysis on variances, cash flows and working capital reports;
• Preparation of statutory annual financial statements (Dutch GAAP/ IFRS);
• Managing local audit process and resolving audit queries to ensure that audits are completed on time and within budget;
• Preparation of VAT and CIT fillings in collaboration with external advisers;
• Cash management including management of bank accounts and payment instructions;
• Monitor transactions of our client and their structures;
• § Client Relationship Management by maintaining relationships with client’s operational staff and participating in and support preparation of client meetings;
• Maintain an organized planning of work to ensure timely and accurate completion of agreed deliverables; and
• Maintain close contact with auditors, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, banks, custodians, brokers and other external parties.
• Perform miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements

HOW DO YOU FIT INTO THE TEAM?

As a FAM, you work closely with team members of various levels and are capable of managing ad-hoc activities, intensive client contacts and your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. Having a helicopter view is essential, since you are responsible for financial processes and reporting deadlines for a portfolio of clients and structures. You are proactive, know what you are capable of and possess good communication and organisational skills.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

• Bachelor / Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent;
• Residing in the Netherlands;
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in (fund) accounting within the financial or corporate services industry;
• Knowledge of accounting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS);
• Knowledge of tax and compliance aspects is highly desirable;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written);
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a part of a team; and
• Strong sense of responsibility.
