WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Commercial Director, you are responsible for expanding our global footprint further into Europe. By coordinating our commercial fund activities, you will create significant additional growth to increase sustainable yearly revenues. You will be part of, and deliver added value to, the commercial fund’s team. The Commercial Director is expected to continuously develop personally and professionally and contribute to the further growth of our European offices.
Main responsibilities are:
- Actively looking for business development opportunities by researching accounts, identifying key players and generating target lists; organizing internal conferences and aligning with the marketing team;
- Working on global opportunities and requests for proposals;
- Attending conferences and roadshows and organizing follow up meetings;
- Preparing periodic reports on business development opportunities and prospects and presenting recent development, as well as organizing client and ambassador events;
- Assist global team on business development related day-to-day work and organize follow up on internal and external projects;
- Qualify inbound inquiries from email, website, conferences and other channels;
- Tracking prospects during the proposal phase within the pipeline; updating pitch decks and RFP templates periodically;
- Providing contact to and between all stakeholders to align proposals and contribute to expanding the client portfolio;
- Manage CRM systems (Hubspot, etc.);
- Perform miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.

As Commercial Director, you have an entrepreneurial mindset. You are a creative talent with excellent organizational abilities who manages ad-hoc activities next to daily work. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, and possess good communication skills while having an eye for detail. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress.
Other relevant qualifications for this profile:
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant work experience of a minimum of five years in the fund services industry;
- Excellent networking and commercial skills backed up by a solid knowledge of the funds business;
- A proven network in the fund services industry;
- Background in sales related field is a pré;
- Entrepreneurial business focus, problem solving attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Flexible attitude and stress tolerance;
- Self motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team;
- To be result oriented, proactive, responsible, highly meticulous, and detail oriented.
